Our Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) Heavy Vehicle Mechanics can work on Volvo Trucks, Volvo Buses, Mack Trucks and UD Trucks, some of the world’s most innovative and future focused transport brands. We are seeking highly skilled, qualified Mechanics to join our VCV teams across New South Wales and Queensland.
What you will do
You will contribute to the transformation of our company with impactful work. From ensuring the safety of drivers and road users by being a vital part of a Heavy Vehicle's maintenance schedule, to keeping essential services on the move, working with VCV's customers means playing a crucial role in keeping Australia moving. As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, your role will include:
Steering and suspension repairs
Electrical faults, diagnosis and repairs
Braking systems diagnosis and repairs
Component overhauls
Driveline repairs
Preventative maintenance services and repairs
Offsite and breakdown repairs

Who are you?
Do you dream big? We do too, and we are excited to grow together. In this role, you will bring:
A Heavy Vehicle mechanical qualification (unfortunately we cannot accept Fitter qualifications)
Proven experience working in a commercial workshop environment
Experience working with Volvo, Mack, UD or other European truck or bus brands
Some exposure to light auto-electrical work
A pro-active attitude with a drive to work efficiently
A positive safety attitude with a team-focused mindset
