Having recently celebrated our 17th year in business, we are in a rapid growth mode, expanding to 20+ locations over the next 15 years. Due to an increase in demand for our high-quality training, we are seeking suitably qualified and experienced HRWL Trainers/Assessors to join our team. 

About the role

This role will report to the Operations Manager in Belmont and will be responsible for developing  and delivering quality training to our clientele in line with provisions in the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 and relevant company policies.

As part of our Training team, the key focus for this role will be to deliver some or all of the high-risk licenced courses listed below (if qualified to do so):

  • Cranes
  • Rigging
  • Dogging
  • Scaffolding
  • Forklift and EWP
Additionally, our high-Risk Trainers contribute to the development of our programs and resource materials, participate in moderation, validation and Assessment processes, provide ongoing support to our leaners and deliver nationally recognised qualifications.
  
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for training and working with learners, employers, and industry stakeholders.  The course delivery model will be a combination of classroom and workplace-based training and assessment, which might vary subject to the discipline and the learners being a mix of experienced industry workers, career starters and young jobseekers.
  
Mandatory Requirements:
To be considered for the role, you will have:
  • TAE40122 / TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment OR TAE40110 (including TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 or equivalent; OR hold Diploma TAE;  
  • Industry experience in competency and safety related training;
  • Experience in training High Risk courses;
  • Currency & experience in the courses to be delivered;
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills;
  • Experience in supporting learners with LLN challenges;
  • Ability to work autonomously with little supervision;
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
  • Continuous improvement mindset
