Holistic Healing Tattoo Therapist

ALMA THERAPIES PTY LTD are looking for an experienced Holistic Healing Tattoo Therapist for an immediate start. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Surry Hills, NSW.

Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation: Conduct comprehensive consultations with clients to assess their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Listen attentively to their concerns and goals for the therapy session.Consult with clients to understand their vision, intentions, and desired healing outcomes

• Design Customisation: Collaborate with clients to design personalised tattoo artwork that reflects their journey, emotions, or intentions for healing. Utilise your knowledge of symbology, mythology, psychology, and their relation to personal development and healing.

• Therapeutic Tattooing: Administer therapeutic tattoo sessions using sterile equipment and high-quality materials with minimum discomfort to client. Apply the designed artwork as part of a treatment onto the client's body, incorporating specialised techniques to promote relaxation, pain relief, and energy alignment.

• Scar cover up tattooing: understanding scar tissue characteristics, colour theory and blending toensure a natural and harmonious appearance. Ability to work precisely with nano and micro needles.

• Energy Work: Integrate energy healing modalities such as Reiki, acupuncture, or chakra balancing into the tattooing process. Channel positive energy and intention to facilitate the healing journey of the client.

• Emotional Support: Provide a supportive and empathetic environment for clients throughout the tattooing session. Offer emotional guidance, active listening, and encouragement to help them process any emotions or memories that may arise during the therapeutic process.

• Aftercare Guidance: Educate clients on proper aftercare procedures to promote healing and prevent complications post-tattooing. Offer guidance on holistic practices, such as mindfulness, nutrition, and self-care, to support their overall well-being.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client consultations, treatment plans, and progress notes. Adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards in handling sensitive client information.

Skills And Experience Required for the Role:

• Certification or licensure in a relevant complementary health therapy field will be desirable.
• Proficiency in technical application of skin penetration with rotary motored machines Design portfolio demonstrating understanding of symbology and energetic connections between image and energy. Creative skills and attention to detail.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of symbology, mythology, psychology, and their applications in healing and personal development.
• Bachelor Degree Level Qualification
• At least 02 years of experience in complementary health/Holistic practices involving Therapeutic Tattooing
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and energy systems relevant to Holistic Healing practices used in tattoo therapy.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about emerging trends in complementary health and tattoo therapy.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanour.
