About this role
Reporting to the Production Manager, this role will provide production coordination, administrative and customer service support to the production and finance teams, including;
- General administrative duties required for day-to-day operations
- Support in the coordination and implementation of production plans and schedules
- Ensure the smooth and proactive coordination and operation of a production process, from planning stages right through to the final delivery of a product or service
- Scheduling, coordinating and organising all elements of the production workflow
- Proactive processing and supporting the sales, production, quality, inventory and finance elements of customer interface/service.
- Maintaining a clear communication path between all parties involved in the production
- Liaise with and coordinate necessary support elements to ensure that the production team meets schedules and delivery dates
- Liaise with customers and provide proactive and responsive communication
- Manage RFQ’s received
- Manage company email inbox
- Manage account queries and status updates
- Assemble Job Folders
- Data entry for sales and orders
- Assist Production Manager, purchasing officers and operations manager, as required
- Data Entry (Process Sales orders, Debtors Invoices and Creditors Invoices)
- Intercompany invoicing support, as required
- Observe all procedures as per our ISO 9001:2015 and AS/NZS ISO 9001:2006 certification
- Adherence to company health and safety related policies and procedures
- Provide support to teams across a range of departments as required
About you:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proactive and ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to prioritise, problem solve and multi task are crucial
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role in manufacturing/production
- Ability to work under pressure and autonomously
- Strong attention to detail is required
- Excellent computer skills in programs such as Microsoft Office
- Experience in ERP software systems such as M1, Nexus, SAP (experience in CRM systems also favourable)
- Business Administration Certificate (desirable)
- Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
- Be Trustworthy and Reliable
- Australian Citizenship - must be eligible for the Australian Government BASELINE security check
