The Role
Reporting to the site Business Manager this position is integral to the efficient supervision and coordination of all activities in the warehouse and to ensuring that procedures are maintained correctly.
You will be responsible for various warehouse activities including:
- Coordinate packing and despatch to customers
- Supervise a small team
- Train and monitor new team members
- Check orders
- Complete Reports
- Finish Manifests and collate paperwork
- Complete Pallet Transfer paperwork
- Monitor and review outstanding orders
- Stock/Discrepancy investigation
- Invoicing
- Picking and packing stock
- Oversee Loading/Unloading of delivery vehicles
- General Warehouse duties
You will need to:
- Possess warehousing experience in a fast moving environment.
- Be physically fit, self-motivated and willing to work hard.
- Demonstrate an excellent attendance record.
- Able to give instruction clearly and confidently.
- Able to teach and train others.
- Team Player and a ‘Can do’ attitude.
- Have a high attention to detail.
- Have good written and spoken communication skills.
- Reliable - punctual and dependable
- Have a good level of computer literacy.
- Be able to work well within the site team.
- Be dedicated to working in a safe manner and satisfying customer needs.
- Hold a current QLD Driver's License
