We're looking for a professional Home Energy Advice Coordinator with relevant experience who wants to join our team on a casual/part-time basis, working up to 4 days per week based in Fitzroy.THE ROLEThe Home Energy Advice Coordinator (HEAC) will work as part of a team delivering energy efficiency and affordability trials, pilots, and research. They will provide high-quality Home Energy efficiency and affordability advice, support the development of processes and tools for project delivery; and will engage with referral partners, households, and individuals to support their participation in the program.
  • Engage with householders and identify their needs, priorities, and resources
  • Provide high-quality advice on energy efficiency and lowering household energy costs, directly to program participants, and through the development of resources.
  • Working with the Project Manager and other staff to identify and develop pathways for participant recruitment into CCE projects and develop engagement tools and processes, including promotional materials and events.
  • Support contact between householders and subcontractors to ensure timely and satisfactory completion of upgrades.
  • Support the Project Manager in developing tools for the collection and provision of data for monitoring and evaluation of program activities

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience in residential energy efficiency, social and political sciences, or similar (Qualifications in residential energy assessment desirable but not essential).
  • Demonstrated knowledge/experience in residential energy efficiency and the ability to develop knowledge about project-specific interventions.
  • Well-developed communication, people skills, and capacity to build positive rapport with a diverse range of people including culturally and linguistically diverse households and people experiencing complex social or financial hardships.
  • Customer service focused.
  • Highly-developed administration, computer skills, and competency in Microsoft Programs and Salesforce CRM.
