Job description

Our customers are looking for consultants who can help them navigate the aged care home support program, assist in discussing and recommending appropriate services to keep them home and to provide a positive service and experience.

Due to continued growth in our Home Care Division, this is a great opportunity for the ideal candidate looking to put their outstanding customer service skills, administrative skills and problem-solving talents to the challenge whilst supporting our current and ever-growing new client base.

This is a full-time position based from our Mile End office.

What you'll do:

  • Provide a seamless customer experience to direct them to appropriate services.
  • Negotiate appropriate services within budgeted allowances.
  • Present with an empathetic, solution focused approach when assisting our clients.
  • Promote service options which will enhance Health and Wellbeing.
  • Actively support customers to better health outcomes via services utilising various funding streams.
  • Provide opportunity and advice about services to support customers to be independent, healthy, and connected to their community.
  • Sign up of Home Care Package for current and new ACH Group customers face to face in their home or via phone.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment.

About you:

Our ideal candidate will have a strong customer service focus and will also possess:

  • The ability to deliver outstanding customer service, so the customer experience unsurpassed.
  • Understanding of Consumer Directed Care (CDC) and key principles desirable.
  • Experience in working within contract & regulatory requirements and organisational policy and procedures is desirable.
  • Sales experience/ solution selling techniques is desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and follow up skills.
  • Demonstrated proven experience in providing exceptional phone-based customer service.
  • Possess an ability to empower customers, listen and link customers to services.
  • Attention to detail, with strong documentation, administration, and organisational skills.
  • Intermediate computer and customer relationship management (CRM) literacy.

You will need:

  • Genuine care about supporting older people to live a Good Life.
  • A Police Check for unsupervised contact / vulnerable groups less than 12 months old at commencement.
  • Current drivers licence.

ACH Group is a not-for-profit organisation in the Health Care Sector. This means that you can salary package up to $15,900 per annum for living expenses and $2,650 for meals/entertainment to reduce your tax.  We also offer a range of perks through our Employee Benefits Program (eg. discounted private health).
