Work for a government organisation and learn all aspects of Horticulture.As part of this apprenticeship you will gain a nationally recognised qualification - Certificate III in Parks & Garden2. Rodmar Landscaping Services based in Leppington. If you have a genuine interest in plants, trees and regeneration of lands and are interested in completing a Horticulture (Parks and Gardens) Apprenticeship this is for you!As a part of this apprenticeship, you will complete a Certificate III in Nursery Operations (Nursery Production).3. Asplundh Tree Experts based in Minchinbury with clients all over Sydney, including Council areas, Western Sydney University, Sydney Water, Major Sydney parks and hospitals and Sydney trains.As part of this apprenticeship you will gain a nationally recognised qualification - Certificate III in Parks & Garden.Some of your duties may include: Maintaining landscapes and garden beds within local Parks and Gardens Working with and assisting tradesman using hand and power tools Mowing, whipper snipping, edging and weeding Pruning and spraying weeds with chemicals Management of pest species Cleaning of public parks and gardens Driver's licence and a white card are essential for this position.
