How you’ll make a difference
Based at our Miami Depot, you will work as part of a team responsible for maintaining and enhancing parks, landscaped and recreational spaces within the City’s open space regions and road network.
- Planting, pruning, mulching, hedging, removing green waste, spraying herbicides/weed removal and operating equipment such as leaf blowers, chainsaws and pole saws.
- Demonstrate behaviours that contribute to a positive and successful team.
- Follow established work practices and consistently deliver high quality work.
What you bring to your new role
- Certificate II or higher in Horticulture/Conservation and Land Care Management/Arboriculture and relevant industry experience.
- C Class Drivers Licence.
- WHS General Construction White Card.
- Be a team player with strong communication skills.
- Have a high level of motivation and initiative, with the ability to work unsupervised.
