The Company
Our client operates a botanical garden which covers 14 hectares within the Queens Domain area in Hobart.
The Role
- Assist in planting, watering, weeding and fertilising plants
- Focus will be on ornamental horticulture
- Monitor and maintain plant health, identifying and addressing any issues
- Recognise and address pest and disease issues in a timely manner
- Supporting the lead Horticulturalist during the execution of day-day operations

Requirements
- Qualified in Horticulture with a certificate 3
- Preferable at least 3 years' experience
- Experience in ornamental horticulture.
- Motivated, hard-working individual with a strong eye for detail
- Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Hours of work:
- To be confirmed but most likely Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work
- 7.45am to 4.36pm - Monday to Friday
- $33.00 per hour casual rate plus Superannuation and O/T
- On site parking (Free of charge)
