About the Role
Exciting opportunities exist for experienced Hospital Medical Officers to join the team at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital. In this role you will ensure that quality, evidence based and medical care for a wide range of Hospital inpatients.

Key Skills and Experience
- Current general registration with AHPRA
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in an acute health care facility as a Medical Officer
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in Cardiology or Coronary Care Unit
- Experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Experience admitting general medical or subspecialty medical patients
Remuneration
An hourly rate of $105.00 plus superannuation and pro-rata leave entitlements.

The Hospital
Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital opened on 4 November 2013, offering a comprehensive range of inpatient and day services across a wide range of specialties. Facilities include 9 state-of-the-art operating theatres, two cardiac catheter laboratories, a minor procedure room, a day surgery unit, an 11-bed intensive care unit/coronary care unit and a 9-chair day therapy unit.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
