ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently recruiting a Casual Medical Administration Assistant at Longueville Private Hospital, reporting to the Hospital Director.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, well-spoken all-rounder to perform front desk admission and reception duties, as well as administrative and finance support tasks.
You must be able to thrive in a fast paced, busy environment with sometimes competing and unplanned workloads, and able to proactively meet any challenge within deadlines. You should consider yourself a high achiever, problem solver, customer focused and a team player.
While administration experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting is desirable, full training will be provided and therefore it is more important that the candidate possesses the right attitude and is a keen learner. There is scope for professional development, and the role would suit someone looking to pursue and build a career in healthcare administration.
Essential criteria:
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication, written and verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Quick learner, keen desire for professional development.
- Adaptable, and a team player.
- Works well independently and has a strong sense of accountability.
- Well-developed IT skills.
Desirable criteria:
- Prior administration experience in a hospital, medical or rehabilitation setting.
- Prior experience with Patient Admission Systems.
