Position Summary
To provide effective supervised day to day clinical management of both ambulatory and admitted patients, included but not limited to assessment, admission, management and discharge.

- Medical Staff including Consultants, DMS, Registrars and Fellow HMOs
- Ward Staff including NUM, Nursing Staff, Ward Clerk and Ward Secretary
- Support/Educational Staff including MEO, HMO Manager/Clinical Governance Unit/Researchrnal:
- Effective working relationships with all Peter Mac stakeholders
- To reliably assess urgent patients and non-urgent patients within 30 minutes and two hours respectively of the request.
- Satisfactory performance, under supervision, of the procedures listed in the Australian curriculum framework for junior doctors, relevant to Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre including venepuncture
- Taking arterial blood gases, IV cannula insertion, fluid management, pain management and end of life decision making
