Due to parental leave we have an opportunity for a part-time Pharmacy Technician to join our Slade Pharmacy team based at Mayo Private Hospital. This position is to cover a period of 12-months with the following hours:
8.30am-1.30pm Monday and Tuesday,
8.30am-3pm Wednesday and Thursday and
8am-1pm Friday
This exciting opportunity will further enhance your career in an ever-evolving multidisciplinary team environment. You will be exposed to hospital dispensary, ward imprest, and retail environments giving you a well-rounded experience to hospital “tech-ing”.

Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the sale of S2 and S3 medicines while displaying an appropriate level of knowledge
- Dispense medications under supervision for hospital inpatients and outpatients
- Assist customers with general queries, including liaising with hospital staff
- Replenish stock and assist in maintaining inventory levels both in pharmacy and in the hospital
- Assist the pharmacy teams with other ad-hoc pharmaceutical duties

- Minimum 1 year of dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy
- Certificate in pharmacy (community or hospital) or equivalent
