Due to parental leave we have an opportunity for a part-time Pharmacy Technician to join our Slade Pharmacy team based at Mayo Private Hospital. This position is to cover a period of 12-months with the following hours: 8.30am-1.30pm Monday and Tuesday, 8.30am-3pm Wednesday and Thursday and 8am-1pm Friday This exciting opportunity will further enhance your career in an ever-evolving multidisciplinary team environment. You will be exposed to hospital dispensary, ward imprest, and retail environments giving you a well-rounded experience to hospital “tech-ing”. We are a forward-thinking team, seizing opportunities for change, growth and improvement in patient outcomes. Key responsibilities: Assist in the sale of S2 and S3 medicines while displaying an appropriate level of knowledge Dispense medications under supervision for hospital inpatients and outpatients Assist customers with general queries, including liaising with hospital staff Replenish stock and assist in maintaining inventory levels both in pharmacy and in the hospital Assist the pharmacy teams with other ad-hoc pharmaceutical duties Who are we looking for?
