The opportunity:
We are looking for a Part-time Pharmacy Technician to join our Slade Pharmacy team, located at Lingard Private Hospital. Work Monday, Thursday and Friday - no weekend work!
This is an amazing opportunity to further develop your dispensing career and gain experience in a clinical setting through the support and training of our collaborative team. In this role, you’ll:
- Receive, dispense and supply medications for hospital inpatients and outpatients
- Assist in processing and maintaining imprest levels, and managing hospital ward stock
- Reconcile and manage prescriptions and patient medication discharge profiles
- Provide support to patients, carers and hospital staff
- Process PBS claims and assist in producing medication profiles to hospital patients on discharge
- Confidently complete administrative and record keeping duties
- Assist with patient account enquiries

Eligibility Requirements:
- Previous experience dispensing medication
- Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
- Must be available to work the days and hours listed for this position
