Hospitality Allrounder

ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.

ESS are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Hospitality Allrounders in the following roles at our AFP locations

Australian Federal Police College, based in Barton, ACT

Australian Federal Police College, based in Majura, ACT

• Casual Housekeeper – Monday - Friday 7am-3pm - $24.08/hr
• Casual F & B Attendants - Monday - Friday 7am-3pm - $24.08/hr (potential to be part time)

The successful candidate will need to be able to obtain an Australian Federal Police baseline security pass. In order to be eligible, the candidate will need to be an Australian citizen and be able to provide proof of citizenship.

The Position:

• Develop your hospitality skills while contributing to the team in a friendly supportive environment.
• Adhere to our high standards of food safety practices 
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• High levels of communication and interpersonal skills
• Assisting the kitchen with basic food preparation
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffees 
• Assist with stocktake and other adhoc duties as required
• Cleaning rooms, offices, toilet blocks, common areas

 The Person:

• Must have own reliable transportation
• Being flexible to work both FOH & BOH
• Previous barista experience or coffee making skills a must
• Ability to take direction and work well within a small team environment
• RSA is advantageous but not mandatory
• Safe food handling knowledge
• Australian Citizen and ability to provide proof of citizenship
• Willing to obtain a National Police Check
