Hospitality And Event Staff

We are looking to build a strong team of hospitality superstars to assist with Events and Functions, of varying sizes, from birthday parties to Wedding receptions to Major Events. We are seeking applications from candidates with enthusiasm and motivation, who have a positive attitude and a passion for events. Applicants with a proactive, friendly, customer service focused approach are encouraged to apply.

As an Events Team member, you will be required to work in a variety of positions that are customer focused, as well as logistics roles to ensure venue readiness. Most of our shifts will be based around events so the preferred candidates will be available to work flexible shifts including nights, early morning, and weekends, according to industry demands (minimum 3.5-hour shifts, however during larger events shifts may be up to 8 hours.).

Key tasks include:
• Logistics
• Ushering/Ticket Scanners
• Car Park Attendants
• Bar Attendant (cocktail knowledge a plus)
• Food and Beverage
• Runners
• Cashiers

About you 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team 
• Ability to take instruction and execute requirements
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Good time management skills and ability to work to a deadline
• High work ethic, commitment to professional presentation & grooming standards, ethical practice and flexibility in the workplace.
• Demonstrates an inspirational attitude that contributes to a positive team environment with a "Can-do" attitude.
• A reputation for working hard and to be punctual and reliable
• An understanding of food health & safety and hygiene
• An SA Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification, or willingness to obtain
• Display safe work habits.
• Experience in the events industry, and/or Customer Service, will be highly regarded
• An appropriate level of fitness is to be maintained, due to occasional heavy lifting and the requirement to stand for long periods of time.
