Our beautiful, Redleaf Manor, located in Concord, is seeking experienced Hospitality Assistants to join our catering team on a permanent part time basis. Working on a fortnightly roster.
As the Hospitality/Food Service Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering friendly and efficient food service to our residents according to Allity’s Food Standards and providing kitchen and food preparation support to the Chef.
Your duties will include, but not limited to:
- Provide all food service activities to residents including serving meals, and dining room set-up and clearing
- Food Handling, Food Safety and other specified qualifications are current
- Undertake basic food preparation under direction of senior staff
- Food preparation is completed within the designated timeframe and according to the FSP, Allity Food Standards and OH&S specifications
- Washing and storing equipment within the designated timeframe and according to the FSP and OH&S specifications
- Cleaning and rubbish removal are completed within the designated timeframe and according to the FSP and OH&S specifications
- Conduct kitchen and pantry stock inventory when required
The successful candidate must demonstrate the following:
- Follow Basic Food Safety Practices certificate - HLTFS7A (Essential)
- Food Handler (HLTFS207C)
- Sound hospitality experience
- Sound food preparation experience (preferably in an Aged Care environment)
- Highly organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks
- Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
- Highly motivated and able to take initiative
- Excellent communication style - able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
- Team player, ability to the extra mile
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment at all times

The successful applicant must complete a National Police Check, provide proof of COVID-19 Vaccination and may need to complete an NDIS Worker Screen.
