The RoleWe are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Hospitality Operations Manager to join our team and help us take our offerings to the next level. This executive level position requires a high level of expertise, experience, and leadership skills. The successful candidate must have a passion for the hospitality industry, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for members and guests.
As the Hospitality Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our food & beverage operations. This includes managing staff, developing and executing operational plans, and delivering premier service.
You will work closely with the senior management team to develop strategies that drive revenue growth and enhance the overall experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing inventory, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hospitality management, exceptional communication and leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding member service.
This role will report directly to the General Manager.
Requirements- At least 5 years of experience in hospitality or a related field, with a proven track record of successful leadership and management.
- Strong strategic planning skills and ability to develop and implement effective hospitality strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasting revenue, and controlling costs.
- Experience in developing and implementing effective sales and marketing campaigns to drive revenue growth and brand awareness.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels customer satisfaction and manage guest feedback effectively.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in hospitality, including emerging technologies and innovative service models.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Experience in conducting stocktakes and managing inventory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point of sale (POS) systems.
- Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, strong computer skills and the personal qualities to work with a diverse member base.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Previous experience in the golf industry within a Private Club setting is preferable but not required.
Full-time employment – Genuine work-life balance.
This role is primarily day shifts with no split shifts, you are offered flexibility with respect to working hours, however, weekend work will be required given the nature of the club industry itself.
