Hospitality Teacher

Tradewind are seeking a passionate and dedicated Hospitality teacher to join a well-respected Special Education school in Castle Hill. Join this independent, co-educational Catholic school in a full-time, ongoing role starting in Term 2.

Demonstrated Experience and Skills

• Qualifications and experience in teaching the TVET Hospitality Course
• Sound knowledge of special education evidence-based practices and pedagogy
• Desire to work as part of the faculty and wider school team
• Flexibility to respond to a dynamic learning environment
• Evidence of a relational approach to colleagues, students, and parents
• Effective organisation and ability to fulfil administrative and assessment requirements of a teaching role
• Excellent communication skills
• An ability to organise and direct learning support officers
• Willingness to uphold the Catholic and Edmund Rice ethos of the School

Prerequisites:

• NESA accreditation
• Current Working With Children Check clearance

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in working with students with a range of disabilities

• Completed relevant Qualifications in Education

• Maintain a valid and up-to-date NESA accreditation

• Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
• Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years.
