Address- Experienced Hospitality Team Leader to manage the growth of Cafés

About the role
VMCH has a number of Social Enterprise Cafés based in Melbourne and Regional Victoria and a mobile coffee van that provide employment and development opportunities to people living with a Disability. We are in a growth phase with plans to open several new venues in the coming months. The Hospitality Team Leader will work with the Café coordinators to ensure the cafes provide great coffee and excellent food as well as great opportunities. This position is based in Camberwell.
About you
You will have outstanding hospitality skills experienced managing multiple cafes and opening new cafés and growing the existing cafes. You will be assisting with the development of menus, ordering stock, rostering staff and managing the budget. Your customer service and presentation skill will create an inviting space for customers, participants, and staff. You will be an outstanding leader providing support to staff and trainees to develop skills to gain ongoing employment.
Skills and experience
- Experience in developing and managing multiple cafes in diverse locations.
- Experience as a barista and in café food preparation and presentation.
- Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills within hospitality environment.
- Manage menu design purchase stock, maintain backroom order and cleanliness.
- Create a visually appealing and welcoming environment.
- Outstanding communication, time management and organisational skills
- Full Victoria Driver license
- NDIS Screening Clearance or willing to obtain.
