As our Hotel Assistant Managerat the Dorsett Hotel, you will manage and support our Front Office team while overseeing the daily operations to ensure a worldclass experience for our guests.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will build memorable connections with both our team members and guests.

A few of your responsibilities: 

  • Assist the Front Office Manager to ensure that the highest standards of guest service are achieved and maintained
  • Maintain accurate duty manager log books
  • Assist with the people planning requirements including recruitment, rostering, training and development
  • Manage guest queries and complaints ensuring a satisfactory resolution
  • Ensure hand over information is properly communicated to next shift

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in managing a large and diverse team with high-performance standards
  • Proficient with computers and relevant hotel systems and software (Opera Cloud highly regarded)
  • Flexible availability to suit business requirements
  • Experience building positive working relationships between departments and within the team
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
