As our Hotel Assistant Managerat the Dorsett Hotel, you will manage and support our Front Office team while overseeing the daily operations to ensure a worldclass experience for our guests.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will build memorable connections with both our team members and guests.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Assist the Front Office Manager to ensure that the highest standards of guest service are achieved and maintained
- Maintain accurate duty manager log books
- Assist with the people planning requirements including recruitment, rostering, training and development
- Manage guest queries and complaints ensuring a satisfactory resolution
- Ensure hand over information is properly communicated to next shift
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in managing a large and diverse team with high-performance standards
- Proficient with computers and relevant hotel systems and software (Opera Cloud highly regarded)
- Flexible availability to suit business requirements
- Experience building positive working relationships between departments and within the team
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
