What we will see from you in your day-to-day role?
- to check-in and check-out guests
- demonstrating friendly personalised hospitality at all times
- high competency in administration and ability to sustain a high sales conversion rate
- promoting the business to achieve accommodation sales
- processing reservations and using a multitude of systems
- strong local area knowledge
- assisting all market segments incl. corporate and leisure guests
- ensure the smooth running of the Front Office Department in collaboration with the Front Office Manager
What are the tasks associated?
- Management of the Front Office team in support of the Front Office Manager
- Coordinating on shift with cross departments; Housekeeping, Maintenance, Events, and Food & Beverage teams.
- Ensure that Front Office team are following best practise procedures as well as personalising guest service to increase guest satisfaction and in turn positive guest sentiment at all times.
- Responding to guest feedback promptly via numerous communication channels.
- Provide local area knowledge and concierge services to ensure guests can enjoy and maximise their stays.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in hotels sector coupled with Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent leadership role
- MUST be able to demonstrate a strong ability to multi-focus and high organisation
- MUST demonstrate growing leaderships skills and ability (and intention) to support and develop team.
- Able to demonstrate ability to build, maintain and strengthen new and existing relationships
