Experienced Hotel Guest Service Office
Killara Hotel & Suites is located in the heart of Sydney. We are currently seeking experienced Hotel Guest Service Officer to join our team. You must take pride in your work and be willing to go that "extra mile" to make our guest's experience an enjoyable one. This is a role that requires an energetic and enthusiastic person who is ready and willing to work as part of a team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Administering check-ins and check-outs
- Providing front desk services to guests
- Cash and card handling
- Coordinating guest bookings using GuestPoint software
- Responding to phone calls, emails and general enquiries
- Dealing with Guest requests while being respectful & assisting were possible to resolve any issues.
- Supervising housekeepers, planning and checking room cleans
- Administrative duties
- Assisting in café/restaurant service, adjacent to reception
- Assisting in functions/evens operation
The successful candidate must:
- At least 2 years Guest Service experience in a hotel
- Restaurant working experience is a plus and have valid RSA
- The ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Well presented
- A positive attitude, professional and enthusiastic
- Reliable and have a strong work ethic
- Must be able to work nights and/or weekends
- Full working right in Australia. Please note this role is NOT for short term visa and student visa holder.
