AddressWe have an exciting opportunity for a Hotel Services Manager to join our leadership team managing the environmental and catering services across both Peninsula Private Hospital and Linacre Private Hospital
About the Role
In this role there is an opportunity to review and create efficiencies, provide continuous improvements within the departments to deliver the hotel-level experience for our patients.
Key responsibilities include managing the operational requirements including ensuring strict hygiene and infection control, auditing, and scheduling of cleaning requirements and ensuring OH&S standards for the department.
You will make sure roster management is within activity needs and budget guidelines and provide team leadership and development to maintain a high performing service focused team.
Your Skills and Experience
- Experience within a cleaning/hotel/catering management position ideally within hospitals or health care
- Experienced in rostering, purchasing and budgeting
- Knowledge of Infection control standards and cleaning requirements
- Tertiary qualification in management or significant experience in a leadership role
- Strong time management and ability to manage competing demands.
- Trade qualifications in commercial cookery or hospitality desirable
Remuneration
On offer is a full-time equivalent, annual salary ranging from $110,000 - $120,000 + superannuation based on qualifications and experience. Exclusive of penalties and allowances.

About The Hospitals
Peninsula Private Hospital is a comprehensive 350 bed acute emergency, surgical, medical, cardiac and obstetric facility located in the bayside town of Frankston in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs. The hospital currently accommodates a 14-bay emergency department, 226 medical and surgical, 36 cardiac, 11 ICU, 7 Neonatal, 14 Obstetric, and 30 Oncology beds which include 15 day infusion chairs. As a fully accredited health care facility we offer the highest standards of clinical care, patient service, and technology.
Linacre Private Hospital is a comprehensive 69 bed facility offering a range of surgical and medical services to the Bayside community and beyond. We have three operating theatres, procedure room, day surgery unit and a high dependency unit.
Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
