Housekeeper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team in an apartment located in the vibrant city of Melbourne. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for performing a variety of housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, organized, and comfortable living environment. This position offers flexible working hours ranging from 10 to 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.

- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, bathtubs, and showers.

- Ensure all rooms are tidy and well-maintained, including making beds, changing linens, and organizing furniture.

- Clean and maintain kitchen areas, including wiping countertops, cleaning appliances, and washing dishes.

- Empty and dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas.

- Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linens as needed.

- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines while using cleaning equipment and chemicals.

- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the property management team.

- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with residents and guests.

- Adhere to confidentiality and privacy policies to safeguard residents' personal belongings.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required.

- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

- Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.

- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and cleaning equipment.
