The North Lakes Hotel is looking for a highly motivated & driven hospitality professional who is looking to provide a sparkling clean environment for our guests.
We are currently seeking Room Attendants and a Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team on the Northside of Brisbane. We are a modern 4.5-star full-service accommodation Hotel which consists of 81 accommodation rooms, 5 function spaces and a busy cafe.
Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, these positions will be responsible for maintaining and delivering high levels of cleanliness and meeting our housekeeping benchmarks.
Duties for both roles include, but are not limited:
- Cleaning guest rooms, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, tiles, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Ensuring all service areas are fully stocked with guest amenities
- Using appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes ensuring safe work practices are maintained
- Assisting guests with any requests or inquiries they may have.
The Housekeeping Team Leader role includes the supervision of the housekeeping team in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
Key Team Leader responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assistant in coordinating the daily operations of our housekeeping team.
- Scheduling the daily cleans of guest rooms and public areas.
- Ensuring that your team is cleaning and maintaining the guest rooms and hotel public areas to the Hotels highest standards.
- General Room Attendant duties
- Provide feedback on room conditions to the Housekeeping Manager
- Working closely with all departments to ensure that the hotel is presented well.

- Ability to work independently.
- Strong customer service
- Self-motivation with the ability to meet deadlines within given time and work well under pressure.
- The ability to work a flexible roster including weekends.
