We are seeking an experienced, positive, motivated & professional Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Kingfisher Bay Resort on beautiful K'gari. We need a strong leader and proven ‘all-rounder’ with a track record in successful performance management. Are you prepared to work and live at Kingfisher Bay Resort? Do you have 2 years or more experience as a supervisor?
This is a Part-Time Permanent position paying $33.94 per hour and you will be required to work and live at Kingfisher Bay Resort.
Key Role Responsibilities
- To supervise and assist with cleaning Hotel Rooms and Apartments.
- supportingthe Housekeeping Manager with the management, administration, and operation of the entire housekeeping department.
- Supervise and perform various cleaning duties to comply standards
- Monitor and maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms
- Monitor and supervising Team Leaders
- Monitor as required the disposal of laundry and garbage and recycle items where necessary
- Reporting any maintenance issues
- Monitor and Maintain cleanliness standards
- Proper handling of lost property
- Perform duties assigned by a manager
- Ensure safe manual lifting procedures are adhered to
- Ensure all rosters are scheduled in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Housekeeping Supervisor role in a similar environment
- Demonstrated ability to work in a close team environment
- Previous hotel or resort cleaning experience
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise multiple tasks with a commitment to follow through to a successful completion
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure and resolve problems
- Experience in motivating team members to achieve targets and outcomes
- Great time management skills and meticulous attention to detail
