As the Biomedical Technician Senior you will deliver advanced technology support services with minimal supervision including but not limited to preventive maintenance, repairs, installation, commissioning, de-installation and general technical support.
About Biomedical Technology Services:
This exciting career opportunity falls under Biomedical Technology Services which provices a comprehensive health technology management, service and support capability to Hospital and Health Services and other parts of Queensland Health through the statewide delivery of biomedical engineering, diagnostic medical physics and radiology support services.
Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Incentive Scheme:
Eligible health practitioners who move to Queensland from an interstate or international jurisdiction to take up permanent employment may receive up to $20,000 (pro rata) incentive payments under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Incentive Scheme.
What we are looking for:
- Proven advanced level of knowledge, expertise and skill in the maintenance, installation and technical support of health technology equipment and systems.
- Proven ability to apply independent judgment and initiative to effectively plan, execute and coordinate technical service delivery with minimal guidance from more senior practitioners.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including clinical staff, equipment suppliers, service providers, team members and managers.
- Proven ability to work as an effective team member to achieve organisational goals.
- Able to demonstrate a commitment to the principles of quality management and continuous quality improvement.
