One of the investment vehicles is Warakirri Cropping, which will be one of your client groups. Warakirri Cropping is an Australian owned, safety first, family oriented, innovative large scale cropping organisation. With over 155,000 hectares under management across Australia you will work for a significant grain producer. This role will work across both Warakirri Asset Management and Warakirri Cropping HR matters and projects.
Job Description
In your new role with Warakirri as an HR Advisor, you will collaborate with the HR team and key leaders in supporting the ongoing rollout of the People & Culture Strategy and take lead on providing pragmatic HR advice. The Head of HR will be there as your mentor, and you will be key in the coordination and communication of HR cyclical events. You will gain exposure to senior leadership and decision making by being part of the Employer of Choice lead team. The client group comprises approximately 150 FTE.
If you are seeking a role that will provide you exposure, develop your advice and business partnering skills and be a key member in the FY25 HR projects execution this may be the role for you. This position is a 12 month Max Term Contract, with the opportunity to go permanent. The start date is flexible, with a preference of mid-late June 2024.

What does an HR Advisor at Warakirri Asset Management do?
- Establish and maintain effective relationships managers employees.
- Provide generalist HR support and advise on the application of HR policies and guidelines.
- Highlight and assess systemic issues, proposing broader HR solutions as needed.
- Lead key HR projects and support the implementation of HR strategy as delegated.
- Review and update HR policies and guidelines, ensuring compliance and accessibility.
- Assist in end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including induction, onboarding, offboarding, and performance reviews.
- Support HR cyclical items, engagement surveys, legislative training refreshers, exit interviews, and HR reporting.
- Support the Head of HR on projects and broader business growth projects outside of Warakirri Cropping

- Demonstrated experience as an HR advisor/HR Generalist, with a focus on building relationships
- Strong understanding and application of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Experience with HR projects and supporting HR strategy implementation.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Australian HR legislation, compliance requirements, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
