We have an opportunity available for a part time HR Business Partner to join our growing company in a job share role! This will be offered as a long term contract for 2 days per week, based at our office on Collins Street, Melbourne. We are also open to considering candidates from Sydney. In this role, you will assist in supporting People & Experience (HR) activities across your assigned portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in providing HR subject matter expertise across the full employee lifecycle.
- Assist in developing, reviewing and implementing policies and procedures ensuring compliance with legislation.
- Support and advise internal stakeholders on organisational change, staff performance, discipline issues and grievances.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of people processes and delivery across Service Stream.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Commerce or related discipline is preferred.
- Provide support with key delivery projects and processes.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a HR Generalist or HR Business Partner, ideally across white and blue collar industries.
- Ideally 3 years of HR generalist experience.
- Current understanding of employment laws and EBAs.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with various levels of the business.
