The Role
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this is a newly created role designed to be the Strategic Partner to business unit General Managers (operational and corporate), working closely with them to understand business needs and challenges.
Key Responsibilities will Include:
- Establish People Plan, aligning it with the Group P&C Strategy and TDG’s overall mission, vision and strategic objectives.
- Ensure workforce is equipped with future skills needed to meet business objectives.
- Support, coach and advise business unit General Managers across all People Strategy and P&C related topics.
- Manage centralised P&C Tier 1 & Tier 2 advisory support (including Advisors & Co-ordinators) for Australia & NZ.
About You
- Minimum undergraduate or post graduate tertiary qualification in IR/ER and HR, or related discipline.
- At least 5 to 10 years’ HR Business Partner experience, preferably in a blue-collar environment.
- Hands on and recent experience with both Australia & NZ IR/ER business environments.
- Experience with leading P&C teams including the establishment of shared services and centralised advisory.
- Exposure to Australia & NZ Worker’s Compensation (ACC in NZ)
- Sound working knowledge of Australian and New Zealand employment, Health and Safety and payroll legislation.
- Strong change and project leadership skills with the ability to influence across multiple stakeholders.
