As the HR Lead, Marine and Offshore, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of human resources and employee relations strategies for the offshore workforce (subsea projects and marine). You will be responsible for providing best practice advice and managing complex HR/ER/IR matters as they arise. In this role you will partner with Leadership and work collaboratively to ensure compliance with industrial instruments, regulations and polices. You will also enhance the HR function across people planning and culture, talent development and performance management.Our team achieves outstanding results for our external and internal stakeholders through the team's friendly, professional, resourceful and solution driven attitudes. Your mindset and flexible approach to work will naturally support and align with this.Requirements
- Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources and Employment related field, or similar.
- Previous experience in a similar position, ideally with maritime or offshore projects exposure.
- Experience providing HR advice and support within an industrial relations environment.
- Excellent knowledge of HR practices, employment laws and regulations in Australia.
- Knowledge of the Navigation Act 2012 and Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) 2006 are highly desirable.
- Experience supporting and coaching leadership across the HR function and their business partners.
- Demonstrated Employee Relations experience, including managing grievances and disputes.
- The ability to build positive, professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
