About the Role The Lead HR Services plays a key role that will lead and coach team members, equip them with a clear understanding of their roles in the continuous improvement cycles and initiatives. Directing and influencing team members by providing a clear vision, context and objectives to solve problems and deliver outcomes. The role will be a key decision maker around highest business value items related to HR Services activities. Ensuring that escalations, HR transactions, processing and other requests to and from our customers are being managed and supported by the team. This role will bring about great opportunity to lead an exceptional and highly regarded team, with core Accountabilities: Lead and coach a team of HR Principals and Specialists to perform the execution of effective and high-quality HR projects and services. Drive the embedment of the BHP Operation System within the team, with a continued focus on end to end experience, customer value and continuous improvement. Demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement skills, work collaboratively and build strong relationships with Senior Stakeholders across BHP HR, Global Business Services teams and beyond. Drive partnership and engagement with customers to understand business requirements, working with relevant teams to prioritise improvement. Demonstrate strong influencing skills to work collaboratively and partner with stakeholders to drive operational performance, contribute to capability and context building within their delivery. Manage demand and capacity for the team, by working with stakeholders to understand upstream demand for a range of HR Services work packages and prioritising to determine and schedule capacity. Be responsible for enabling the execution of HR Services work such as HR Service Partnering, escalation management, complex case work such as roster creation / parental leave / enterprise agreements, services remit of restructures and projects Support delivery of improvement projects that fall within the Global Business Services HR Services pipeline. About You Experience in building strong rapport and trusted working relationships, with a deep focus on uplifting customer felt experience and proven stakeholder management and prioritisation. Experience with Senior Leadership engagement (Asset Leadership Teams, Head of HR Business Partnership) and comfort working alongside all levels Have previous Leadership experience in HR space, including HR Generalist, Talent Acquisition or transactional experience in a complex and fast paced environment.
