What’s the opportunity?
Referred to internally as the People & Development Manager, this is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to lead Luxe Care’s People & Development for a period of 12 months. Potential for this role to be ongoing.
About the role
Based at our Hawthorn office. Maximum term contract, as either a full-time or part-time position.
This role will lead a passionate team of four in providing expertise on all aspects of human resources, learning and development and Work Health Safety/WorkCover. This unique opportunity will be suited for a positive and energetic individual who is happy to be hands on, adapt with the business and work closely with our Operations and Support Services teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional service on all P&D related matters to our 300 employees.
This role overseas both the strategic and operational perspectives of P&D and is responsible for:
- Leading and managing all Industrial and Employee Relations matters.
- Coordinating and supporting recruitment and onboarding activities.
- Guiding and supporting learning and development functions.
- Creating and delivering people related reports and metrics.
- Managing our WH&S, WorkCover and Return to Work related processes.
- Establishing and implementing people related initiatives, systems and processes.
- Establishing and implementing ongoing people related engagement initiatives.
- Managing and leading P&D related projects.
- Ensuring compliance on all P&D related matters, in line with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Supporting our HR Administration team with functions associated with the employee life cycle.
About you
You have at least 6 years of similar HR experience under your belt, have previously led a team and ideally, have exposure to the healthcare/aged care industry. We are also looking for an individual who:
- Prides themselves on their attention to detail and high level of initiative.
- Has excellent time management skills and the ability to proactively problem solve.
- Has exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional approach to your work.
- Previous experience in medium sized or larger private business is desirable.
- Has a solution focused and practical approach, with the ability to be innovative and flexible in your work.
- Is engaging, friendly and has the ability to motivate others.
- Has a Certificate 4 / Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Manager or equivalent.
- Has full work rights and the ability to obtain a satisfactory police check.
