About the Opportunity
The Yoghurts & Desserts manufacturing site at Thomastown is seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to provide comprehensive, pragmatic and customer focused HR and IR support in line with the Business direction and strategy.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you are an integral part of the Site Leadership Team, partnering the leaders to ensure effective delivery of people and culture strategies and continuously improve the company’s people agenda. Supporting a team of approximately 80 people across the Factory, Sales, Marketing and Administration, you have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the business.
.Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
First point of contact for all HR related enquiries, dealing with all HR issues in line with company policies and procedures
Drive engagement and culture through close partnering of leaders, communication and capability building.
Partner with cost centre managers to optimise labour costs.
Manage any complex case matters in conjunction with safety and other functional HR areas.
EBA negotiations, disputes and grievance management and IR advice.
End to end people processes including recruitment, Talent Mapping, Succession Planning, Career Development, Individual Development and Performance Reviews.
Opportunity to be involved in cross functional HR projects at the national level
The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys being out in the factory on a daily basis, has 5+ years HR experience demonstrating strong leadership, conflict resolution, influence, building relationships, negotiation skills and the ability to work autonomously.
Candidates working within a complex manufacturing environment would be held in high regard.
