Immediately available 

Full time permanent role

Hybrid role – working a mixture of in our Southbank office (2 days) and remotely from home (3 days).

About the role: 

This is a group business role. Our ideal candidate is a go getter with previous experience and exposure in providing ongoing HR Business support in a fast paced, busy environment performing a range of duties including but not limited to the following:

Responsibilities

This is a group role, providing HR Administrative support to entities within the APAC region.

Assisting with a range of HR duties including but not limited to the following:

  • Administering Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding activities
  • Administering Offboarding duties for employee terminations
  • Managing and monitoring the HR Assist email distribution account and triaging incoming emails
  • Administering employee requests such as confirmation of employment letters, employment verification checks etc
  • Assisting in the administration of the employee life cycle maintenance (promotions, transfers, role change, cost centre change etc) Ensuring all documentation is compliant and timely.
  • HR/Payroll/System maintenance and employee queries
  • Actively participate with development and implementation of HR initiatives
  • Assist in analytical reviews and Ad hoc reporting
  • Assist with reviewing existing and developing new HR policies and processes.
  • Assisting with coordination of annual remuneration and performance reviews
  • Liaising and fostering relationships with key stakeholders including external agencies to undertake HR activities
  • Assisting with ISO accreditation and OH&S business requirements
  • Managing the Annualised Wage Arrangement requirements: such as timesheets, outer limit calculations, and audits
  • General administration assistance as required to assist in the achievement of business objectives.

What you bring

The successful candidate will have previous experience in the listed responsibilities as well as the below:

Skills

  • Show a high degree of attention to detail
  • Time and task management
  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • Sound knowledge on Australian employment legislation, award interpretation and Fair Work
  • Hold tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or have extensive practical experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a HR Officer role
  • Self-motivated and able to work with in a team
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • HR & Payroll system experience – (SAP, Payroll Metrics, HiBOB)
  • General payroll knowledge advantageous but not essential
  • Intermediate Excel and analytical skills
