About the Role
We have a rare part-time opportunity for an experienced HR Officer, based at our Bennetts Green branch, to provide support and advice across the Form 1 Group of companies, on a range of HR matters including employee relations, performance management, recruitment and compliance. This role offers:
- A permanent part-time role, working over 5 days a week, 6 hours a day. We would also consider 4 days pending the suitable candidates preference
- Salary range of $70K-$90K pending experience, calculated on a pro-rata basis to reflect part-time hours
- An exciting opportunity to develop your HR experience in a true fast-paced generalist role in a small but supportive and dedicated HR team.
Responsibilities include:
- Act as the first point of contact for HR enquiries for managers and employees
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including drafting job advertisements, screening candidates, conducting interviews and managing onboarding processes
- Drafting employee contracts, contract variations and all HR actions associated with each process
- Contributing to the development and compliance of policies and procedures and training programs
- Assist in managing the apprenticeship program
- Compile monthly HR metrics, reporting and statistical analysis
- Assist with the day-to-day performance management guidance to line managers in accordance with company policy and procedures
- Work closely with payroll in the notifications of changes to staff variations, reviews and contracts
- Management of RTW claims
- Manage the scheduling of all staff performance reviews – 3, 6 & 12 monthly
- Undertake human resources-related projects, processes and programs
- Assist with various compliance and risk management tasks and projects as required
Our ideal candidate:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a generalist human resources role
- HR generalist experience, including knowledge of industrial relations legislative frameworks and employment law
- Strong end-to-end recruitment experience, induction and onboarding/offboarding
- Proven experience in managing RTW processes and claims management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High-level organisational and time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and in a busy and fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer literacy skills within a Microsoft Office environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, using our initiative and thinking creatively
- Flexible, adaptable and a “How can I help” mindset
- Have permanent work rights with no restrictions
- Able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and police check
- Your natural ability to be discreet, organised, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator will be essential to meeting the responsibilities in this role.
