This role manages the recruitment, human resources and organisational development services within The Epiphany Group, The Change Network and for our external clients, directly contributing to the direction and development of the department.
The department is set up as an agency-style business, providing solutions and support to internal stakeholders and external clients. The role will collaborate with the business to: design and implement evidenced-based strategic programs that attract and engage new and existing clients; provide new frameworks centred on culture and capability to foster a high-performance internal culture; and provide outsourced human resources guidance to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive alignment between HR initiatives and organisational strategic goals through effective leadership and contribution to the development and implementation of HR strategic plans.
- Deliver proactive operational and strategic support, recommendations, and solutions for clients on people-related issues both internally and externally.
- Engage in end-to-end recruitment projects, including outreach and screening of prospective candidates
- Work closely with external partners on the design and delivery of HR projects, including engagement surveys and pulse surveys, as well as salary benchmarking and the creation of policies and procedures
- Seek new business development and growing existing clients.
- Be involved in all aspects of the employee life cycle, including but not limited to performance management, talent management, organisational change efforts, employee and industrial relations concerns, grievances, restructuring, salary reviews, and recruitment.
- Analyse business problems and facilitate solution development with clients, on all human resource and organisational matters.
- Drive organisation-wide talent, engagement and capability initiatives, resulting in demonstrable capability outcomes.
- Lead the transformation of key processes that impact and enhance the staff experience, such as onboarding, learning, performance, communication, safety and satisfaction.
- Ensure appropriate HR frameworks and programs are in place and that managers are skilled to ensure their teams are engaged, developed, retained and thriving.
- 5+ years HR generalist experience, or industry experience related to role.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, or equivalent.
- Proven ability to identify, win and develop new business.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating Recruitment and HR initiatives and projects, including employee engagement surveys, salary benchmarking and creation of policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated capacity to effectively communicate, promote and uphold HR initiatives and company values, including discretion and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian employment legislation and ability to interpret and apply this legislation.
