Are you passionate about evaluation and working with Regional, Rural and Remote communities? We are seeking a community minded and evidence driven Senior Evaluation Officer to work collaboratively with outreach and widening participation staff located in Country University Centres to understand what works.
The Senior Evaluation Officer (Regional, Rural and Remote Widening Participation) is responsible for supporting the evaluation of the Eastern Australia Regional University Centre Partnership (EARUCP). EARUCP is a federally funded project, whereby UOW is working in partnership with the University Technology Sydney (UTS) and Country University Centre (CUC) to develop and test a national model for Widening Participation. Aligned with the Federal Government’s Student Equity in Higher Education Evaluation Framework (SEEHEF), the Senior Evaluation Officer (Regional, Rural and Remote Widening Participation) will work collaboratively with 21 community partnerships, consisting of universities, Regional University Centres and other community-based organisations. The community partnerships will be supported to implement their evaluation plans, including development of data collection tools; supporting data analysis and reporting; and utilising data to inform continuous quality improvement. In addition to this, the Senior Evaluation Officer will support the broader evaluation project, and capacity building for practitioners.
The ideal candidate should possess either a postgraduate level qualification or a relevant tertiary qualification coupled with extensive experience. They must exhibit a sound understanding of the Australian higher education sector, demonstrated experience in leading evaluation activities and designing data collection tools and undertaking analysis. The successful candidate, will also have strong stakeholder management and community engagement skills and a commitment to applying culturally respectful and safe practices.
