Your new role Your new role will be supporting the HR Manager to lead the HR Advisors who are responsible for all frontline advice and operational support relating to the employee lifecycle. You'll be providing day to day supervision and knowledge to the Advisors and Officers and support with embedding new systems and processes. You'll be supporting in HR projects and iniatives as part of the P&C plan. Other responsibilities include:
Handling escalated queries and complex queries
Developing systems and processes
Providing technical advice aligned with P&C policies
Interpret and apply industrial agreements, employment legislation and award and organisational policies
Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business
Become a subject-matter expert for the HRIS system and providing a review of business processes to uplift capability and performance
Support with the delivery of HR projects
What you'll need to succeed
Degree qualified in HRM or relevant discipline, with substantial experience in HR Operations; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Skilled in motivating, inspiring, and mobilising a team to create and maintain positive workplace culture and deliver innovative outcomes.
Experience with HRIS/ERP's, or demonstrated ability to learn.
Experience in the development and implementation of contemporary and innovative Human Resource strategies and initiatives within a large and diverse organisation.
Considerable experience in resolving Human Resource issues, using well developed problem solving and negotiation skills, whilst maintaining sensitivity and confidentiality.
Demonstrated ability and experience in the application of relevant industrial and employment related legislation, regulations and Awards.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently within allocated resources, budgets, and timeframes.
Experience leading a small team is beneficial.
