We have been supplying high quality building, garden & landscaping supplies to Melbourne, Geelong and beyond for nearly 45 years. The Daisy’s team includes approximately 190 people, working across 8 stores and 6 production sites, from Pakenham to Torquay. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Store Driver to join our Ringwood team on a full-time basis.
The role
As a Store Driver your key responsibilities will be:
- Deliver garden and landscaping supplies to customers, generally in the Melbourne Metro Area
- Drive a medium or heavy rigid store truck
- Operate mobile equipment in the sales yard
- Maintain sales yard and truck presentation & cleanliness
- Provide relief to cover leave for our tandem Truck Drivers
Expected hours of work
Our Ringwood store is open 6 days a week, Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:30pm and Saturday 7:00am - 4:00pm.
Skills & experience
The successful applicant will be someone who:
- Holds a current HR licence, with a safe driving record
- Can form friendly and positive customer relationships
- Has reasonable knowledge of the Melbourne Metro area
- Preferably able to work at other stores e.g. in Ashwood on an ad hoc basis
- Preferably has competencies and experience operating a wheel loader & forklift
