An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Truck Driver(s) to join our well-known and established organisation. The position is based at our depot in Preston.
The Truck Driver position is primarily responsible for the delivery and removal of hook lift and morrel lift bins servicing commercial and residential sites across Melbourne.
Your key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Delivering and removing bins from commercial and residential sites across Melbourne
- Securing loads to ensure safe transportation
- Tipping off bins at our designated disposal sites
- Completing daily run sheets and start-up check lists
- Assisting with truck maintenance
- Liaising with customers on site
- Any other tasks as directed by management
What you will bring to the role:
- A current HR/MR Victorian truck license (HR preferable)
- Strong work ethic
- Own a reliable vehicle
To be a successful, you must have great knowledge of the Melbourne CBD and surrounds and an ability to use your initiative and judgement in problem solving situations.
It would also be advantageous if you have past experience in operating hook & morrel lifts.
You will be required to work approximately 40-45 hours per week, Monday to Friday & some Saturday mornings. Please note we do not work Saturday afternoons.
