Searson Buck is partnering with an Australian engineering company to recruit for several positions, including a new HR Assistant role.
About the Role
The HR Assistant supports the HR Manager by taking ownership of daily operations and administrative functions of the Human Resources and Quality Management divisions. The role will start in a part time capacity but does have potential to expand to a full time workload and does have flexibility to work from home.
Key Duties
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including positing advertisements, screening resumes, conducting interviews, coordinate onboarding, orientation activities and induction packages
- Maintain employee records and training databases such as the maintenance of the QMS in accordance with established procedures including scheduling and organising internal audits to ensure compliance with QMS standards
- Support the implementation of corrective and preventative actions to address non-conformities and improve processes
- Assist in the preparation of internal communications and reporting, and administrative documentation management
About You

- Confidential in their engagements and able to communicate across a diverse set of mediums
- Confident to speak up and present new ideas on business practices
- Prior experience within an administrative, HR or quality management role, or a passion to learn and acquire knowledge
