About You:
We are looking for someone with a general knowledge of HR and WHS principles.
Effectively an autonomous role, you would be supported by experts and senior management.
Based onsite at Murarrie, we are flexible with days and hours based on your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide first point of contact on all HR and WHS matters
• Support the implementation of HR initiatives and systems
• Assist with ensuring compliance on all WHS matters
• Ensure data integrity and record keeping principles are applied to all HR and WHS files
• Be actively involved in the recruitment process
• Facilitate the onboarding, and offboarding, processes
• Assist in performance management processes, including grievance handling
• Facilitate any internal audits, inspections, and incident reporting
• Provide first point of contact enquires about our HR system (Employment Hero) and ensure HR transactions are processed in an accurate and timely manner
• Potentially assist Finance team to process pay runs
Qualifications and Experience:
• Proven experience in HR and/or WHS role, and good basic knowledge of Australian employment legislation and ability to interpret Award rules
• Qualification in HR and/or WHS is highly desirable, but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Experience with HR software, Employment Hero, desirable but not essential
