Elecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.
This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.
Construction of EnergyConnect is underway in various locations across the project timeline.

The role
As the HSE Administrator within the HSSE team, you will assist the team in ensuring that the company maintains a healthy and safe working environment.
Your scope will be for all personnel, in accordance with the Elecnor management system expectations, operating standards, and HSSE management manual, statutory requirements, and client specifications.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assist with maintaining the company HSSE event database including data entry as required
- Administer accounts and services for the HSSE department
- Administer supply and issue of office-based PPE and equipment
- Collate and develop periodic HSSE performance reports and presentations (Power BI, M&R, Board HSE)
- Assist in the preparation of statistical and administrative information for pre-qualification and tender purposes
- Coordinate HSSE training courses/workshops/meetings for our Sydney office
- Ensure HSSE noticeboards display up-to-date information
- Maintain HSSE intranet content
Your skills and experience:
- Experience in a HSSE related role preferred
- Administrative experience essential
- Advanced computer skills: Microsoft Office: Excel/PowerPoint/Word
