AddressRCR Mining Technologies has a rewarding career opportunity for a HSE Advisor to join our Bunbury Workshop.
In this role your responsibilities will include:
- Actively engaging with stakeholders to educate and build a positive safety culture
- Providing advice, support and assistance to stakeholders on the implementation of Safety, Health and Environmental initiatives and legislative compliance requirements
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance by all employees, contractors and visitors on RCR sites to internal HSE policies and procedures
- Providing immediate support for incident investigations, follow-up on closeout actions and liaising with relevant stakeholders regarding incidents
- Completing and reviewing onsite Safety Inspections and Audits to ensure compliance to RCR’s Safety and Environment Management systems
- Participating in creating, mentoring, reviewing and providing feedback on Risk Assessment processes
- Assisting the Health & Wellbeing Specialist with injury management cases.
- Reviewing and creating HSE documentation to ensure continuous compliance and accuracy is maintained
- Compiling data for Health and Safety reports, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- A Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role in the Manufacturing or Process industry
- A working knowledge of the Australian WHS legislation such as Acts, Regulations, Codes of Practise and Guidance notes together with experience in completing internal WHS inspections and audits
- An Incident Investigation certification (e.g., ICam), First Aid certificate and a current class C Drivers Licence
- Strong computer proficiency with an intermediate MS Office skill level and experience with using Safety platforms (e.g., MYOSH or SAI360)
- An ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting competing priorities from multiple stakeholder groups
- Strong engagement, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to proactively support leaders across the business value chain.
