Hall Contracting are now looking for an Expression of Interest from HSE Advisors to join us on a range of marine projects in Darwin. Hall Contracting is an equal opportunity employer. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the HSE management procedures.
- Conduct internal audits and inspections across all workplaces.
- Assist with tasks such as project management plans and risk assessments for project set-ups.
- Liaising with project personnel and subcontractors to discuss issues and/or incidents and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Encouraging and promoting continuous development by constantly looking for opportunities to improve work practices.
- Maintaining ISO accredited systems across all workplaces.
- Emergency and incident response, with subsequent incident investigations.
- Ensure HSE controls are effective and reliable, engaging with workers and conducting coaching and mentoring activities with the Project Leadership Team.
- Abide by Hall Contracting’s HSE policies and procedures.
About You:
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience as a HSE Advisor in mining, civil or marine industries (preferred) or a similar role.
- Sound knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act and Regulations in Northern Territory.
- A system focused and results orientated personality.
- Highly engaging and clear communication skills to capture peoples' attention.
- Experience in auditing and delivering safety initiatives.
- ICAM Lead Investigator trained.
