GR Production Services is a division of GR Engineering Services (ASX: GNG).
The purpose of this position is to support our internal teams while working alongside our tier 1 client to implement, monitor and report on HSE policies, procedures, objectives, and action improvement plans. You will provide advice and support on HSE issues and specific risks and hazards on site.
This role will be based between the Cooper Basin and the Surat Basin, will incorporate a FIFO 2/2 roster, depending on operational requirements the roster could be split between both sites, or a single site per swing.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal policies, procedures, management systems and compliance strategies.
- Assist Supervisors and onsite personnel in hazard identification and reporting of hazards.
- Understand and assist with development and implementation of task based JHA’s and SOP’s using client documentations and tools to site-based personnel.
- Provide guidance to site Supervisors and personnel in a timely manner including corrective actions and reviews.
- Oversee testing and effectiveness of site emergency response plans, including conducting of drills, and ensure appropriate levels of response to meet threats and environmental hazards.
- Assist supervisors with preparation and facilitation of safety toolbox meetings and onsite safety presentations.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the Oil and Gas Industry or similar industry with exposure to Risk Management practices.
- Tertiary qualifications either in Health, Safety or Environment
- Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety.
- Certification in an industry recognicesd Incident Investigation training.
- Cert IV Workplace Training and Assessment (desirable).
- Demonstrated experience in building relationships across all levels from site personnel to management.
